I have always believed that taking care of yourself is deeply personal. It is not about becoming someone else. Sometimes, it is simply about making a choice that helps you feel more confident in the person you already are.
A personal decision
It started with a recommendation I did not expect.
As a businesswoman, I am used to asking questions, researching my options and making careful decisions. When I began considering an aesthetic procedure for myself, I approached it in much the same way.
A friend encouraged me to look into Colombia and told me about the country's experienced aesthetic surgeons. I was skeptical at first. Traveling to another country for a procedure was not something I was prepared to consider based on a recommendation alone.
So I started researching. I looked into physicians, their experience, the facilities where they practiced, the procedures available and what the entire process would involve. The more I learned, the more I began to understand why so many people were considering aesthetic surgery in Colombia.
A different perspective
What I found in Medellín changed my mind.
After doing my research, I decided to take the next step and traveled to Medellín for my procedure. What I experienced went far beyond what I had expected.
I was impressed by the physician's experience, the professionalism surrounding my procedure and the personal attention I received. I had found an option that felt right for me because I had taken the time to understand it carefully.
Spanish is the primary language in Colombia, but I quickly learned that it did not have to become a barrier. For simple, everyday conversations, a quick Google Translate was often enough. A little patience and the right people around you can go a long way.
Medellín surprised me too. It was beautiful, welcoming and full of warmth. What had initially felt unfamiliar quickly became a place I would remember for entirely different reasons.
The part no one sees
Getting there had taken more work than it should.
Even after a positive experience, I remembered how difficult it had been to reach that point. Finding the right physician, comparing information, understanding what was included and arranging the different parts of the journey took a great deal of time and research.
There was no clear starting point and no simple way to bring everything together. I knew other people were facing the same questions, and many of them might never explore the possibility simply because they did not know where to begin.
I wanted to create the trusted starting point I wish I had when my own journey began.

Turning experience into Andes
A more personal way to begin.
I created Andes Aesthetic Concierge because I wanted others to have a clearer, more personal way to explore aesthetic surgery in Colombia.
Clients begin by telling us about the procedure they are considering through our secure intake process. We use that information to facilitate an introduction to an appropriate independent physician, who reviews the information and provides the medical quote.
If the client decides to move forward, Andes helps coordinate communication, scheduling, recovery-center arrangements and the confirmed local details surrounding the experience in Colombia. Every medical evaluation, recommendation and treatment decision remains directly between the client and the physician.
Andes is more than a business to me. It grew from an experience I lived myself, and from a genuine desire to make the beginning of that journey feel less complicated for someone else.
